Our Studio

Meet the Founder

It was at the University of Alberta  that I began my arts and crafts career in 2000. In 2013, I began working with pottery. Having sat at the wheel for the first time within three months, I asked if I could work longer. I was consumed by the experience; there was always a mystery, something new to learn, or a problem to solve. The experience was energizing and gave me a sense of purpose. I began teaching beginner classes within a year. It was terrifying, but I said, “Let’s try it,” and that became my motto.

The Caroline Crafts studio promotes local Albertan artists and offers a wide range of workshops.

The workshop space is surrounded by a gallery with local artists. Designed for adults, the fine furnishings create a warm, stylish, and classy atmosphere. Caroline Crafts’ Workshops are for anyone who wants to get creative.

We represent emerging, mid-career, and senior artists. Our mission is to support and promote local artists and to bring joy to our customers.
